Sweet and Sour Fish

 FISH/CUT: Any flaky or small fish such as Lapu-Lapu / Maya-Maya / Bisugo / Galunggong etc in Whole, Steak or Fillet Cuts

 

Instructions:

1. Chop the onion, bell pepper, and chili pepper.

2. Season the Lapu-Lapu with salt and pepper.

3. Drench both sides of the Lapu-Lapu with flour.

4. Add cooking oil to the pan.

5. Fry the fish until both sides are golden brown. Set aside.

6. To make the sauce, add some cooking oil in a separate pan.

7. Add the chopped vegetables. Mix well.

8. Add a pinch of salt and a bit of pepper.

9. Add pineapple juice.

10. Add a little bit of banana ketchup. Continue mixing.

11. Add a tablespoon of tomato paste.

12. Add slurry to thicken.

13. Add pineapple chunks.

14. Add a bit of vinegar. Let it simmer.

15. Put the fried fish on a plate and pour the sauce above the fish.

16. Serve and enjoy.
