After taking on the delicious flavors from the Bicol region, it’s time to add it to the best Filipino comfort food around: danggit! Relax and unwind with the simple recipe of Ginataang Langka at Danggit that will be ready in less than an hour.
Ingredients:
- 10 pieces danggit
- Oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 4 cloves of minced garlic
- 3 pieces of chili, minced
- 1kg langka
- 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1 cup of coconut cream

How to make it:
Step 1: Heat 2 tbsp of oil on a frying pan. Add and lightly fry the danggit. Move danggit to a plate once done.
Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pot. Add onions, garlic, and minced chili. Cook until limp.
Step 3: Add the langka. Cook and stir for 5 minutes. Add fish sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 4: Add coconut milk and cook until the vegetable is tender.
Step 5: Add coconut cream and stir. Add dried fish then continue to cook for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
